Heavy hitters and heavyweights highlight an MMA card of impressive bouts featuring the best mixed martial arts fighters in Minnesota.
The main event promises to be a backyard brawl. Heavyweights Kevin “Concrete” Asplund of Minneapolis and St. Paul’s own Brett Murphy will square off in the cage. Asplund (13-2) is ranked as one of Minnesota’s premiere Heavyweights. Murphy, a rapidly rising star with a record of 8 and 1 is ranked in the top five in Minnesota’s Monster weight class.
The mega card features a co-main event. A Bantamweight war is expected to erupt when Marvin Blumer (6-2) tangles with Laramie Shaffer (6-2) of Omaha, Nebraska.
