Turkey Day 5K

Gather your flock to warm up your Thanksgiving appetites at the 29th Annual Century Link Turkey Day Minneapolis 5k presented by Life Time! Since 1989, the Turkey Day 5k has brought friends and family together to start the day in a healthy way. Break a sweat before you kick your feet up and devour that pie on Thanksgiving morning as you run through the beautiful streets of Minneapolis and enjoy plenty of hot chocolate, apple cider, coffee and more at the finish line. Event Schedule

• 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Race-day registration and packet pickup - Target Center (no entry into the Target Center after 7:30am)
• 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Family Carnival - Butler Square Parking Lot (501 North 1st Ave., Minneapolis, MN)
• 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Kids Care - Life Time Target Center
• 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Food and drink specials, including a Bloody Mary bar - Cowboy Jack’s (126 N 5th St, MPLS)
• 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Post-race food and hot beverages - Target Center garage
• 8:00 a.m. 5K Wave 1 start (Sub 9 min/mile)
• 8:05 a.m. 5K Wave 2 start (Sub 11 min/mile)
• 8:10 a.m. 5K Wave 3 start (11-12 min/mile)
• 8:15 a.m. 5K Wave 4 start (walkers and strollers)

No runners are able to start the race after 8:25am.
