Warm up your Thanksgiving appetite with the 30th Annual Life Time Turkey Day 5K Minneapolis! REGISTER HERE

Since 1989, the Life Time Turkey Day 5K has brought family and friends together to start the day in a healthy way. After a beautiful 5k run along the Mississippi River, enjoy the popular Turkey Day Tailgate which includes turkey bowling, football toss, cornhole, post-race food and beverages, and the NEW Plymouth Rock Ramble kids race.

Event Schedule

6:00am-7:30am: Race day registration and packet pick up - Target Center

6:30am: Turkey Day Tailgate opens - Butler Square Parking Lot (501 N 1^st Ave.)

7:30am: Start corrals open - 4^th Street between Hennepin Ave. & N 1^st Ave.

7:55am: Start corrals close - 4^th Street between Hennepin Ave. & N 1^st Ave.

7:56am: National Anthem - Start Line

8:00am: Race Start

8:00am: 5k Wave 1 start (sub 9 min/mile) - No walkers or strollers

8:05am: 5k Wave 2 start (sub 11 min/mile) - No walkers or strollers

8:10am: 5k Wave 3 start (11-12 min/mile) - No walkers

8:15am: 5k Wave 4 start (walkers and strollers)

8:00am-10:00am: Post-race food, warm beverages, lawn games - Turkey Day Tailgate

8:00am-12pm: Food and drink specials, including a Bloody Mary Bar - Cowboy Jack’s (126 N 5^th St., Minneapolis, MN)

9:00am: Awards Ceremony - Turkey Day Tailgate stage

9:30am: Plymouth Rock Ramble Kids Race - Turkey Day Tailgate

10:00am: Turkey Day Tailgate Ends - Butler Square Parking Lot (501 N 1^st Ave.)
